Katie DeGraaf brings her passion for making our roads safer to General Motors in her role leading insurance telematics for OnStar Insurance. In this role, Katie focuses on unlocking the value of the largest connected vehicle fleet worldwide to understand driving risk and modernize the insurance product. Prior to joining GM, she has spent nearly two decades leveraging data to improve accuracy and better serve customers in leadership roles at both Arity and Willis Towers Watson. She has a wealth of insurance domain knowledge, having worked with more than 50 companies – insurers, telecoms, and auto manufacturers – on five continents to deploy telematics programs for insurance applications and in product and pricing at Liberty Mutual and Allstate Insurance.
Andrew Rose has been working in or running start-ups for nearly 15 years and has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry in a variety of senior roles. He assumed the role of President of OnStar Insurance – part of General Motors – at the start of 2020 to leverage GM’s scale and the value of the OnStar data. Prior to that Andrew was CEO of Compare.com, a subsidiary of Admiral Group plc (the UK’s largest auto insurer), White Mountains, and Mapfre. Compare.com is a consumer website focusing on the transparent and accurate comparison of insurance products from 70+ insurance brands.
Dustin Walsey worked for many years at Akamai Technologies, where he held various roles in business development serving Fortune 100 companies, including Coca-Cola and Cox with consulting, technology, and strategy services. For more than a decade, he was the owner and President of Auto Town Insurance, one of the largest insurance agencies in the Southeast. In 2017, he launched Buckle with the goal of helping gig economy workers access affordable financial services they need to be financially secure, helping them to achieve economic freedom. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Indiana University Bloomington. He passionately supports and serves youth sports in the Atlanta, GA community.
An experienced thoughtful leader in the consumer goods service industry. Corey has over 25 years of experience building and leading service and customer support teams. In his career, he led organizations that managed service depots, reverse logistics, underwriting, risk management, new product/program launches, vendor management, technology installation, and purchasing. While being mindful of managing costs to ensure program profitability; his innovative leadership style has shown that profitability and customer satisfaction are synonymous when building an industry-leading service organization or designing a new technology program.
Katey has extensive loss reserving, pricing, and analytics experience in personal, commercial, and specialty lines of business including managing the implementation of predictive models with Willis Towers Watson. She has been an active member of several acquisition teams focusing on business and data integration and she has partnered with claims, underwriting, finance, product management, audit, strategic planning, and research areas to create alignment and accomplish consistent corporate goals and objectives. She also has considerable experience in the development and monitoring of key metrics, attestation and management reporting, data governance, and trend analysis.
Hayden Broberg is the Vice President of Partnerships at Insurify. Hayden’s team establishes and expands existing insurance carrier, agency, and growth partnerships. Insurify is the highest-rated digital insurance agency in the US. Her partnerships team focuses on the monetization for both user acquisition and distribution. Hayden approaches partnerships creatively, collaboratively, and is committed to finding mutual growth.
Spiffy’s CEO, Scot Wingo, is a 4-time serial entrepreneur from the Research Triangle Park, NC region. Scot is an industry thought leader in e-commerce, e-service, and the future of mobility. Scot has appeared on CNBC and The Today Show and has contributed thought leadership to the WSJ, New York Times, Forbes, and many other publications. Scot hosts the Vehicle 2.0 podcast and regularly speaks about e-commerce and e-service topics at conferences across the country.
